Equipment required:

1. Laptop/PC
2. Access to the Octava Controller
3. dist.tar file ( you will be provided the specific dist.tar file by Octava as needed)

1. Download the dist.tar file as instructed by Octava.to your laptop or PC ( do not install any unknown versions) . If there are duplicate dist.tar files please delete the old file, this will ensure the downloaded file is named dist.tar and not dist.tar(1). Note- the file name needs to be exactly named “dist.tar”. Do not rename the file.
2. Open a browser and access the Octava controller by entering the Octava Controllers IP address followed by :3000. For example, if the Octava

3. Select the Menu Icon

4. Enter “octava” for the admin access

5. Select “Update Software”

6. Select the dist.tar file

7. Upload the dist.tar file to the Octava Controller

8. Wait while file is being uploaded and controller will restart.

9. Done.
